SBS Radio takes even more market share in Sweden
On April 15th, Sifo announced the latest listening figures for the Swedish radio market, with good news for SBS Radio in Sweden. Overall, SBS Radio took another 2% market share. SBS Radios national network MIX Megapol continued to increase their share, but especially Rockklassiker, which was launched in 7 new cities in 2009, could show a great development, with an increase of 64%! SBS Radio Norway has entered into a partnership with the Norwegian media group TV 2, and trough the partnership will create a strong local and national player in the Norwegian radio market.
TV 2 and SBS agree on radio deal, future secured for the fifth radio channel.
TV 2 and SBS have signed a number of agreements, which means that TV 2 Radio is transferred to a new joint company, which shall operate the fifth terrestrial FM channel further in a new form and under a new name.
